Deanne is an artist based in Vancouver, BC. She will co-present and talk about the app she co-created with fellow artist Faith Moosang: Lulu Sweet: A Gold Rush Tale in 8 Acts.

Deanne's practice explores concepts of time, narrative and archives, on the web, in photographs, videos, installations. She is currently showing Pier D - a public art project at the Canada Line downtown in Vancouver, BC, exploring both the specific moment of a fire at the Pier in 1938 and delivering a fictionalized account of the era via a QR code and a blog, http://pierd.ca

Deanne Achong and Faith Moosang are both artists working in Vancouver, BC. They have been collaborating since 2010. The Lulu Sweet app brings together both of their interests in history, technology, mediated imagery and working with archives.
