Oscillations exists in situ between the ghosts and spirits of place past with those who are in present time. It is at a designated urban natural place, through the concept of the oscillation between the electronic and natural worlds, that the very essence of locale forms layers of “disruptions,” which will emerge diversely and sometimes magically over time.

Directions: Reach Charleson Park from downtown easily using the Trans Link Bus System. Simply enter your start and end destination for directions and bus lines and route times. Exit at Broadway and Laurel and walk down the hill to the small plaza at 7th and Laurel, enter and continue over the greened walk bridge. At the end of the bridge please follow the walking path to the left down to the lower path and turn right. The jelly beans are across the grass near the water, the remaining installation site is to the right.

7:45 Meet artist Jean Routhier at the Jelly Bean Sculpture in the Dog Park near the water edge for a 1 ½ hour sound walk.
At 9:30 the lower walkway becomes an outdoor exhibition gallery. Oscillations combines walk based and site-specific ambient sound, visual, interactive installation and performance works. Curated by Giorgio Magnanensi of Vancouver New Music and Laura Lee Coles.
