Sherman Finch is an Assistant Professor in The Department of Visualization at Texas A&M University. He is a multi-media artist who works in both traditional and digital media, with an emphasis in the area of creative interaction and sonification. His current research utilizes various fabrication processes to create a dialogue between visual aesthetics, embodied interaction, and the resulting effects on auditory perception through instrumentation and play. His work has been widely exhibited, performed, and screened nationally and he was recently an artist-in-residence at the Institute of Electronic Arts at Alfred University.
