Karen Cochrane is a MSc student studying with Dr. Thecla Schiphorst at Simon Fraser University with the MovingStories research project. With an interest in art, wearable technology and health, her thesis revolves around designing wearable technology to assist the therapist-client relationship in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. With a BFA in New Media from Ryerson University, her background includes new media art and physical computing.
